Meet The team

Ariel serves as our President and Founder. She began the community group in 2020 to address a direct need in her community with her backpack drives. She is passionate about paving a way for Black and Brown communities as well as endangered populations in D.C. She is a recent graduate from The University of the District of Columbia with a degree in Business Administration while concentrating in Marketing and Logistics and International Trade.

Sheryl serves as our Operations Manager! As a proud mother of 4 she has worked as a healthcare professional, child-care specialist, and much more. We have been excited to see the impact that she has brought to the endangered populations in the DC region.

Erykah serves as our Vice President and has been with us since 2020! She is a recent grad from the University of the Maryland and is currently pursuing a career in government relations and community organizing. She has worked in many community organizations such as Y-USA, Environment Maryland and briefly worked as a DCPS contractor as a classroom aid.
